Elephant

KarinNussbaumer_elephant_trio

Karin Nussbaumer is an art, fashion and studio photographer.

Karin creates stories. She experiments by mixing the real world with a land of fantasy.  Her fantasies take us to a world beyond our own imagination. She dreams up characters who live in a fairy tale... her stories  evolve into beautiful images.  I love fantasy lands... reminds of the kids that crawled through a closet full of fur coats to arrive in the world of Narnia...

Most of Karin's work is done in collaboration with Dutch artist Frank Visser. Her dream which I am sure will become a reality is to do a children's book or maybe even one for grown ups...after all, you don't need words to tell a compelling story...

The Elephant series is a free art series perfect for any contemporary kids magazine...

Mrs Robinson says:

I have known Karin for many years and admire her daring style. I should probably apologize for picking one of my own photographers but this series fits so well with the other Bloesem blogs that I simply had no choice... Combined with a wonderful simplicity the unusual colour palettes will undoubtedly put a smile on your face. So I am sure you will forgive me... just enjoy!

Would you like to see the whole series of 15 images or possibly feature it in your magazine just contact the photographer Karin Nussbaumer.
